Società Ercole Marelli

The Archives,  previously deposited at the State Archives of Milan by the official receiver of the Ercole Marelli, preserves about 80 linear metres of papery documentation concerning the administrative activity, the legal service (labour causes) and the production in the factory of Sesto San Giovanni (electric fans, aspirators, transformers, generators, electric locomotives, turboalternators, three-phase electric motors).











The  technical Library contains about a thousand  monographies and over 130 linear metres of italian and foreign technical magazines issued from the twenties up to eigthies.











The Ercole Marelli's  photographic archives preserves about 25.000 images (1926-1970), in particular of products, manufactoring phases, interiors of productive deparments and participation to the national and international fairs.
The provisional inventory of the single images that will permit the utilization of  the material within sight of the definitive classification is in progress.

Ercole Marelli. L' officina scuola professionale (anni '30).

In 1999 ISMEC has acquired the archives of Riva & Calzoni, Milanese firm leader in the production of turbines and hydraulic pumps.
The archives (about 100 linear metres and a thousand technical drawings) preserves documentation concerning productive activity and in particular drawings concerning plants built by Riva.
