The discovery of the concealment of hundreds of legal files against nazi and fascist war criminals, perpetrated for almost fifty years by more than one government of the Italian Republic and by the summit of the military General Attorney Office, has, in these last five years, restarted the wheels of justice also contributing to investigate and to reconstruct dynamics and responsibilities of some criminal episodes made by the nazi occupants and by members of the RSI (The fascist Italian Social Republic founded in September 1943).	16 settembre '43. Between 1998 and 1999 the military Tribunal of Turin, competent for crimes commited in Liguria, Lombardy and Piedmont has trialed and condemned to life imprisonment former SS officers Theodor Saevecke and Siegfried Engel, respectively commanding officer of the Sicherheitspolizei-SD operating in Milan and Genoa, while other judicial inquiries are in progress by military Attorney Office of Turin, La Spezia and Verona. The long shadow of denied justice has not covered only crimes commited by nazis and fascists but also other crimes and subversive plots that, in a web of carnages, military coup plots and authoritarian intentions, have marked and influenced the course of democracy in Italy.

Aim of these pages is to give elements of informations and knowledge not only about crimes committed by nazis and fascists, and about initiatives of military court, but also what concerns and has concerned with attacks to the republican democratic system and with the chain of criminal events like the bomb placed in a bank of Milan (the carnage of Piazza Fontana in 1969). There is no reconstruction of the memory without a concrete and rigorous knowledge of facts, roles and responsibilities.
